Quality Engineer

About the role

The Quality Engineer will support plant‑wide quality improvement initiatives, lead the PPAP process and ensure compliance with international quality standards. This role works closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver products that meet or exceed specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer issues and verify testing requirements are met.
• Manage the PPAP process and coordinate with suppliers.
• Maintain calibration systems and ensure gauges are within required tolerances.
• Collect and report SPC data, driving process improvements.
• Develop job instructions, procedures and documentation for manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, IATF and other regulatory standards.
• Define customer indicators, monitor satisfaction and report to management.
• Make disposition decisions for non‑conforming material and oversee containment actions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related field.
• Preferred Certified Quality Engineer certification.
• Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, PPAP, SPC and calibration processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
