Remote Video Editor (Mexico)

About the role

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join a remote‑first creative team serving a mission‑driven digital brand. Based in Mexico, you will turn raw footage and creative concepts into polished, high‑performing videos for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and produce short‑form (15‑60 seconds) and longer explainer videos, including user‑generated content.
• Apply brand guidelines and visual identity while adapting content for each social platform.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, marketers and creative teammates to understand objectives and bring ideas to life.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging video formats, editing tools and social media trends.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and experiment with new creative techniques.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional video‑editing experience with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage several projects at once and deliver high‑quality work independently.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with strong creative problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
• Experience with motion graphics, sound design, color correction and color grading.
• Knowledge of post‑production workflows for offline and online editing.
• Experience creating short‑form content optimized for social media platforms.
