Senior Advanced Quality Engineer – GD&T & Dimensional Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Advanced Quality Engineer to ensure that mechanical designs meet geometric tolerance standards, support functional assembly, and drive cost‑effective manufacturing. You will work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve dimensional challenges and improve product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5, ISO 1101) to technical drawings and 3D models.
• Define functional tolerances based on design and manufacturing requirements.
• Perform stack‑up analyses and tolerance accumulation studies.
• Support dimensional validation using CMM and other measuring equipment.
• Participate in root‑cause analyses of dimensional failures.
• Train technical personnel on print reading and GD&T interpretation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in drawing interpretation and GD&T application in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• ASME Y14.5 standards knowledge.
• Dimensional metrology and CMM operation.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, etc.).
• Basic statistical analysis (SPC).
• Drawing interpretation and GD&T application.
