Senior Director, Global Launches & Transfers

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Director to own the global strategy, governance, and execution of new product launches and business transfers across multiple regions. The role ensures successful product introductions that meet customer commitments, operational readiness, quality standards, and financial targets while building scalable launch processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global launch organization, setting performance objectives, KPIs, and accountability.
• Define and enforce global standards for New Product Introduction (NPI) and transfers, including APQP, DFx, and risk management.
• Oversee complex, multi‑site product launches, identify and mitigate cost, quality, delivery, and capacity risks.
• Act as escalation point for high‑risk programs and support sites lacking resources during early launch phases.
• Drive cost optimization, manufacturability improvements, and develop cost models for new products and regional transfers.
• Collaborate with customers, operations, engineering, and supply chain to align schedules, technical requirements, and sourcing strategies.

Required profile

• 10+ years in program management, operations, engineering, or manufacturing.
• 8+ years in leadership roles managing global teams.
• Proven track record of leading complex, multi‑site product launches.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Willingness to travel globally (50‑75%).
