Senior Software Engineer – Frontend & Backend (Hybrid)

About the role

SimplePractice is looking for a senior software engineer to join its new Mexico City hub in a hybrid capacity. You will work on both frontend and backend layers, primarily using Ruby on Rails, to deliver new features that power a practice‑management platform used by over 200,000 health‑care providers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test and ship end‑to‑end features for the next‑generation practice management platform.
• Implement a wide variety of planned service enhancements and new product capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and talent teams to shape technical direction and hiring.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and ensure high‑quality, maintainable code.

Required skills

• Expert‑level knowledge of Ruby on Rails.
