Senior Web Developer

About the role

Semtech's Commercial Web team is looking for a Senior Web Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance web applications and digital platforms that showcase the company's IoT and semiconductor solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop full‑stack web applications, including backend APIs, database architecture, server‑side logic, and responsive front‑end interfaces (30%).
• Build and maintain scalable backend services, micro‑services architecture, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL endpoints (20%).
• Implement and maintain CMS, e‑commerce functionality, data‑management solutions, and integrations with CRM/ERP, marketing automation, and analytics platforms (20%).
• Lead technical architecture decisions, conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce best practices for security, performance, scalability, web standards, and accessibility (10%).
• Manage, upgrade, and secure AWS web servers, including configuration, performance monitoring, security patches, and infrastructure optimization (10%).
• Support DevOps activities, produce technical documentation, modernize legacy systems, and collaborate across functions as needed (10%).

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 6 years of professional web development experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern backend frameworks such as PHP and Node.js.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and server management.
• Hands‑on experience with CMS platforms and e‑commerce solutions.
• Ability to integrate with CRM/ERP, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
• Understanding of micro‑services architecture, technical SEO, performance optimization, security, and accessibility standards.
