Team Leader – Service Functions

About the role

The Service Functions area at TÜV Rheinland is looking for a proactive Team Leader to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and performance management across multiple corporate support domains. You will act as a key partner for HR, finance, and operational teams, ensuring that our global units have the right people and processes to achieve top performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct workforce planning and support budget preparation for the service functions.
• Lead hiring processes, select candidates, and manage employment contracts.
• Oversee promotions, contractual changes, and salary/bonus planning.
• Address employee misconduct with written warnings and coordinate legal actions with HR.
• Manage time and attendance records and ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and define training measures.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in a related HR or people‑management role.
• Proven ability to handle disciplinary actions, workforce planning, and compensation management.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
