Business Development Executive

About the role

QIMA is seeking a Business Development Executive to grow its client base across the consumer goods, food, and life‑sciences sectors. You will manage a portfolio of import‑export companies, identify new opportunities, and drive revenue through strategic sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a client portfolio of global import‑export firms.
• Prospect new customers using cold calling, networking, referrals, fairs and exhibitions.
• Maintain regular communication with prospects, nurture relationships and close deals.
• Upsell additional QIMA services to existing clients.
• Collaborate with Operations and Marketing teams to deliver large‑scale projects and increase market awareness.
• Analyse market trends, monitor metrics and use analytics to achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage schedules autonomously and guide internal teams.
• Proven track record of acquiring new business and managing client portfolios.
• Effective negotiation skills and cultural adaptability.
