Engineering Manager

About the role

Airswift is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams for well construction and intervention projects in Villahermosa, Mexico, on behalf of a leading oil & gas operator.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all engineering disciplines involved in well construction and intervention.
• Oversee well design, planning, and execution strategies.
• Ensure integration across drilling, completions, fluids, cementing, and geomechanics.
• Manage technical risk, operational performance, and cost efficiency.
• Support bid processes, technical proposals, and cost estimation.
• Act as the main technical interface with clients.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams under turnkey schemes.

Required profile

• Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 20+ years of experience in oil & gas, with a strong focus on well engineering.
• 10+ years in leadership or managerial roles.
• Proven experience in turnkey or integrated projects.
• Experience in offshore and onshore operations.
• Advanced English proficiency.
