General Operator – Package Handling

About the role

Join a Fortune Global 500 leader in logistics as a General Operator. You will work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, handling packages throughout the shipping cycle and supporting UPS’s commitment to reliable delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from trailers and package cars.
• Receive, scan, sort, and stock parcels according to UPS procedures.
• Operate heavy machinery when required to move shipments safely.
• Maintain accurate records of package movements and ensure timely processing.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Ability to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) repeatedly.
• Capability to read and memorize postal codes.
• Flexibility to work varied shift hours, up to five days per week.
• Warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Permanent employee status.
