Junior Project Engineer

About the role

Flowserve is seeking a Junior Project Engineer to lead the engineering activities that translate customer orders into accurate production data. You will ensure orders are understood, analyzed, scheduled, and released efficiently while providing technical and logistical support to local sites and global partners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and own engineering activities for customer orders.
• Prepare, review, and validate engineering data, Bills of Materials, and manufacturing process information.
• Perform engineering studies, calculations, and fluid‑flow analyses.
• Coordinate cross‑functional tasks with other Flowserve departments and global engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Business Units and GTEC engineers to enhance customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
• Maintain strong collaboration with project teams throughout the order lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Self‑starter attitude with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and analytical capability to evaluate strength, thermal loading, and component specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software for 3D model creation from 2D drawings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, fluid flow, and material mechanics.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and analyze test data.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
