Medical Science Liaison – Bone Health & Cardiovascular

About the role

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support its Bone Health and Cardiovascular portfolio in Mexico. The MSL will act as a scientific bridge between Amgen and healthcare professionals, delivering up‑to‑date clinical and economic data to advance patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with physicians, payers, and key opinion leaders to communicate clinical and scientific information.
• Provide education on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to support access and reimbursement.
• Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries in compliance with MSL standards.
• Collect and share field insights with internal teams to inform strategy.
• Implement and track scientific engagement plans aligned with annual MSL goals.
• Support speaker training and ensure presenters are updated on new data.
• Identify and liaise with investigators for non‑sponsored research.
• Participate in cross‑functional project teams and congress activities.
• Maintain clinical competence through ongoing training and mentorship roles.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a life‑science discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of bone health and cardiovascular therapeutics.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
• Commitment to compliance and ethical standards.
