Medical Scientific Liaison – Oncology

About the role

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) – Oncology will serve as a scientific bridge between AstraZeneca and the medical community. You will build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, share unbiased scientific information, and support the strategic positioning of oncology products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with opinion leaders and health professionals.
• Organise and deliver scientific seminars, briefings, and virtual meetings.
• Identify opportunities to improve medical methodology and provide practical solutions to clinical challenges.
• Maintain ongoing contact with KOLs and HCPs through face‑to‑face and virtual interactions.
• Collaborate with the sales force to provide accurate scientific information on drugs and therapies when required.
• Support academic centers by ensuring access to current respiratory and oncology scientific data.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor qualification.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in oncology or high‑specialty therapeutic areas.
• Strong project and relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to handle data requests promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
• Fluent English communication skills.
