Parts Advisor

About the role

As a Parts Advisor at Tesla, you will be the key link between service technicians, customers, and internal departments, ensuring that the right parts are available for every service appointment. You will work in a fast‑paced service center environment, supporting Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Source and allocate parts from distribution centers and other service locations for vehicle service appointments.
• Monitor inventory levels, update the parts system, and communicate availability to relevant team members.
• Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service centers and process warranty part returns, including handling hazardous materials and high‑voltage batteries.
• Receive, inspect, and store stock and special‑order parts; pick up and transport parts using a van or forklift.
• Escalate parts issues to the Regional Parts Manager and act as a point of contact for vendors.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Flexibility to support critical projects, including occasional weekend or evening hours.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 25 lb regularly.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
