Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to support product validation for Milwaukee Tools. The role focuses on applying reliability engineering methods to ensure that new products meet performance and durability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for mechanical and electronic components.
• Perform statistical analysis (Weibull, reliability distributions, matrices) on test data and produce clear reports.
• Apply root‑cause analysis techniques such as 8D to resolve product issues.
• Use Design of Experiments and life‑data analysis to optimize designs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in the United States and Asia to benchmark technical solutions and address questions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and processes are followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of experience in new product development, especially design‑focused projects.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams across different regions.

Required skills

• Root‑cause analysis (8D).
• Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Life‑data analysis and statistical tools (Minitab, ReliaSoft, Monte Carlo simulation).
• Test plan development for mechanical and electronic systems.
• Statistical analysis techniques including Weibull and reliability distributions.
