Supply Chain Scheduler

About the role

The Supply Chain Scheduler is responsible for ensuring that raw materials and component inventories are aligned with production plans and customer demand. This role monitors the Master Production Schedule (MPS), drives preventive actions, and collaborates with suppliers and internal teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily inventory levels of raw materials and component families and report deviations.
• Follow up MPS achievement, propose preventive actions, and ensure material availability for the complete customer demand.
• Set and adjust inventory targets, lead reduction initiatives, and measure Supplier Service Rate (SSR) for each supplier.
• Send weekly forecasts to suppliers, track material arrivals, and ensure on‑time shipments.
• Communicate precise information to suppliers, adapt communication frequency, and resolve blocking points quickly.
• Participate in logistics/purchasing meetings, support implementation of Pull flow, Kanban, EDI, and Milk‑run processes.
• Define inbound transportation plans with the external flow analyst and support inventory counting activities.
• Alert sales during crises, coordinate priority decisions, and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain supplier contacts, propose logistics protocols, and ensure backup coverage during holidays.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret MPS data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Excellent communication abilities to interact with suppliers, logistics, purchasing, and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent issues.
