Warranty Project Manager

About the role

The Warranty Project Manager will operate within the EHS, Quality and Security function at the Queretaro Switchgears facility. The role is essential for enhancing service quality and customer satisfaction by managing warranty claims, driving root‑cause analysis, and overseeing corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients on warranty claims, handling the end‑to‑end process from data collection to resolution.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to perform root‑cause analysis (RCA) on non‑conformities and develop corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
• Track the effectiveness of implemented actions and ensure they prevent recurrence.
• Manage warranty‑related improvement projects, defining scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Analyze claim trends, identify systemic issues, and propose strategic product or process improvements.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in project management, quality management, or customer‑facing technical roles within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with a customer‑oriented mindset.
