About the role

The Compliance Analyst for Import and Export ensures that the company meets all obligations under Mexico's foreign trade regulations. Working closely with customs and tax authorities, the analyst safeguards the business from fines, optimizes customs benefits, and supports audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze foreign trade scenarios and recommend suitable trade schemes.
• Administer Annex 24 and 30 for IMMEX‑registered entities using company‑specified software.
• Gather and coordinate information to respond to customs and fiscal authority requests.
• Perform monthly data analysis to reconcile inventory with Annex requirements.
• Lead cost‑innovation and process‑improvement projects, applying automation and Lean Six Sigma methods.
• Develop and maintain written procedures and policies for foreign‑trade activities.
• Conduct origin analysis under international treaties applicable to Mexico.
• Ensure proper administration of fixed assets in Annex 24 and 30, complying with electronic filing rules.
• Prepare documentation for customs and tax audits, verifications, and information requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in foreign trade, international relations, or business administration.
• At least 2 years of experience in a foreign‑trade role, including IMMEX, Annex 24/30 management, and audit support.
• Strong analytical capacity, problem‑solving orientation, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and drive continuous improvement.
