Android Mobile Engineer (Hybrid, CDMX)

About the role

We are looking for an Android Mobile Engineer to join our product team in Benito Juárez, CDMX. The role is hybrid, with three days onsite and two days remote, and requires advanced English proficiency (C1). You will work on building high‑quality Android applications using modern Kotlin‑based architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android apps using Kotlin.
• Build scalable mobile architectures with MVVM, Clean Architecture, or MVI patterns.
• Create responsive UI with Jetpack Compose, Navigation, Room, WorkManager, and DataStore.
• Implement asynchronous and reactive flows using Coroutines and Flow.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and third‑party SDKs.
• Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
• Participate in system design discussions and define mobile architecture solutions.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure security and coding standards.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
