Architectural Designer (Construction Documents)

About the role

We are a U.S.-based architecture and design firm seeking a skilled Architectural Designer to take projects from schematic mark‑ups through to fully permit‑ready construction document sets. The position is fully remote, but you will work during U.S. business hours and collaborate closely with our on‑shore team.

Key responsibilities

• Produce complete architectural plan sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Develop construction documents from schematic designs and red‑line revisions.
• Prepare permit‑ready drawings that comply with U.S. building codes and drafting standards.
• Coordinate revisions across all sheets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Communicate directly with the U.S. team during U.S. business hours to address feedback and updates.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience creating full architectural plan sets independently.
• Strong command of AutoCAD for construction documentation.
• Working knowledge of U.S. building codes and drafting standards.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• A portfolio showcasing plan sets you have personally produced.
