Assistant Controller

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and results‑driven Assistant Controller to support our Controller in leading accounting and finance processes. The role will provide valuable insights and recommendations to senior management while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Controller with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting cycles.
• Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, PPV/PV analysis, cost roll processes, manufacturing variances, inventory reconciliations and cycle counts.
• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Drive month‑end and year‑end close, preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate external audits and support internal audit improvements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team.
