Assistant Director of Revenue and Reservations

About the role

The Assistant Director of Revenue and Reservations supports the Director of Revenue Management in executing Fairmont Mayakoba’s commercial strategy. This hands‑on position focuses on tactical implementation, data analysis, and revenue optimisation across rooms, food & beverage, and spa outlets, while preparing the incumbent for future leadership of revenue management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Revenue Management in strategic planning and daily revenue decisions.
• Oversee the Reservations team to ensure accurate inventory allocation and pricing.
• Analyse market data, booking trends, and competitive intelligence to recommend pricing and e‑commerce strategies.
• Maintain data quality, generate performance reports, and support profit‑generation initiatives for rooms, restaurants, and spas.
• Act as deputy for the Director of Revenue Management during their absence, gaining leadership experience.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in hotel revenue management, reservations, or related commercial functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with profit‑generation teams and corporate stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced luxury hospitality environment.
