Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

Hyatt Place Cancun Airport is looking for an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the daily management of kitchen, restaurant, and banquet operations. The role ensures compliance with brand standards, quality, service excellence, food safety, and profitability while leading a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen, restaurant, and banquet operations.
• Monitor food and beverage costs and support financial objectives.
• Prepare and analyze food costing, quotations, and budgets.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes.
• Lead, train, and develop operational team members.
• Control inventories, requisitions, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Utilize POS systems and administrative tools for reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or restaurant operations.
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Chef, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar F&B leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage costing and supplier management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intermediate English.
• Experience with POS systems, preferably Micros.
