Assistant Store Director – Luxury Retail

About the role

The Assistant Store Director supports the Store Director in driving commercial performance, delivering an exceptional client experience, and ensuring operational excellence in a luxury retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Track and analyse daily and weekly KPIs, identifying opportunities and risks and proposing corrective actions.
• Lead by example on the selling floor to drive sales performance, service excellence and team engagement.
• Execute clienteling strategies, including top‑client engagement, VIP development, retention actions and local initiatives.
• Oversee CRM activities and omnichannel initiatives such as events and digital client follow‑up.
• Coach, develop and manage team performance, supporting goal setting, feedback and succession planning.
• Ensure operational excellence in stock management, back‑office coordination and visual merchandising.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Ability to analyse data, make decisions and drive results.
• Excellent communication, ethical standards and commitment to an inclusive workplace.
• Experience in luxury or fashion retail preferred.
