Assistant Store Leader – People & Culture

About the role

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader focused on People & Culture to partner with the Store Leader in driving operational excellence and building an inclusive, high‑performing team. You will oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance management, and employee relations while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a customer‑obsessed team, coaching members to deliver warm, purposeful interactions.
• Own full-cycle talent acquisition: outreach, recruitment, interviews, hiring, and maintaining a diverse candidate pipeline.
• Plan staffing levels, schedule labor, and align hiring strategies with store KPIs and service standards.
• Design and execute onboarding experiences that set new hires up for success.
• Identify training needs, provide on‑the‑spot coaching, and create development plans for career growth.
• Manage performance routines, set clear expectations, deliver feedback, and handle employee relations with confidentiality and objectivity.
• Develop succession plans, recognize achievements, and foster a culture of trust and connection.
• Ensure compliance with SKIMS policies, procedures, and applicable labor laws.
