Associate Clinical Specialist

About the role

Join Stryker to support the growth of robotic‑assisted orthopedic surgery in Mexico. This field‑based position offers the chance to develop expertise in the Mako surgical system while working closely with surgeons and hospital teams.

Key responsibilities

• Complete the required training curriculum and certification to become a qualified Mako clinical specialist.
• Provide clinical and technical assistance before, during, and after robotic‑assisted procedures.
• Deliver product education and ongoing training to surgeons, OR personnel, and hospital teams.
• Assist with pre‑operative planning, imaging review, workflow preparation, and case readiness.
• Support launch and adoption of new Mako accounts, coordinating training sessions, workshops, cadaver labs, and certification activities.
• Partner with sales reps, distributors, and hospital staff to ensure surgical logistics, equipment readiness, and procedural support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or a related technical/clinical discipline.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Ability to work on‑site in Veracruz, Mexico.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Exposure to hospital, operating room, or clinical environments.
• Background in orthopedics, surgical technologies, or healthcare settings.

Travel

• Up to 60% travel required.
