Business Development Manager – Caribbean & Central America

About the role

Geotab is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Caribbean and Central America. You will lead the identification and development of new business opportunities, shaping sales strategies and building strong partnerships to expand Geotab’s connected‑vehicle solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and secure new customers within the assigned regions.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with market opportunities.
• Negotiate and close cooperative contracts with resellers, partners, and end‑clients.
• Collaborate with Business Segment teams, Partner Account Managers, and internal departments to ensure alignment and successful deal closure.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product positioning.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with strong diplomatic and negotiation abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
• Excellent analytical and project‑management skills.
• Passion for technology and interest in IoT, connected transportation, and fleet analytics.

Required skills

• Fluency in English; additional language skills for the region are a plus.
• Experience in B2B sales or business development within technology or transportation sectors.
