Campus Doctor

About the role

The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM) Chipinque is seeking a dedicated Campus Doctor to lead health and wellbeing services for its students and staff. Reporting to school leadership, the doctor will deliver on‑site medical care, manage chronic health conditions, and support the school’s safeguarding and child‑protection framework.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line medical assessment and care to students and staff during school hours.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, accidents, and urgent health situations on campus.
• Monitor pupils with chronic conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and oversee medication protocols in line with school policies.
• Coordinate with parents, external healthcare providers, and school leadership on health matters.
• Conduct health screenings, wellness assessments, and preventive health initiatives.
• Support implementation of safeguarding, child‑protection, and overall wellbeing procedures.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MD) with a valid professional licence to practice in Mexico.
• Current professional registration and credentials in good standing.
• Experience in pediatrics, family medicine, emergency medicine, occupational health, or school health services is preferred.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid.
• Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child‑protection practices.
