Cloud Engineer – AWS & Platform (Remote, Mexico)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join a large‑scale cloud transformation initiative. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and managing AWS‑based, containerized solutions for microservices applications.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Amazon EKS, ECS, and/or OpenShift.
• Support migration and modernization of microservices‑based applications to the cloud.
• Design scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent platforms.
• Create High‑Level and Low‑Level Design documentation.
• Troubleshoot platform and application issues while driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver cloud‑native solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven hands‑on experience with AWS services, container platforms (EKS/ECS, OpenShift), and microservices architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to work remotely and deliver results in a contract setting.
