Commercial Strategy & Promotions Specialist

About the role

The Commercial Strategy & Promotions Specialist will help shape Hershey’s customer investment strategy and optimise trade promotions for core and seasonal product lines across Mexico. Working closely with Sales, Demand Planning and Marketing, the role supports the creation of data‑driven promotional plans that drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complex, comprehensive analyses to design national and channel‑level promotion strategies aligned with business objectives (20%).
• Evaluate promotional events, extract market insights and recommend targeted channel or customer initiatives (10%).
• Collaborate with Sales and Sales Finance to build optimized, event‑level promotional plans during annual planning and conduct quarterly reviews of promotion effectiveness (30%).
• Assist in the development, management and execution of promotional programs, ensuring alignment with the overall trade strategy (10%).

• Strong personal leadership and initiative.
• Critical and strategic thinking with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Deep knowledge of customers, channels and business acumen.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
