Compliance and Governance Manager

About the role

The Compliance and Governance Manager will ensure that the company adheres to internal policies, procedures and local regulations while supporting the energy transition in Mexico. Reporting to executive management, the role combines anti‑corruption oversight, ethics management and internal audit coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company’s anti‑corruption procedures and coordinate external audits.
• Maintain and update the company’s Obligation Matrix.
• Oversee the Ethics Line and act as the primary contact for headquarters audits.
• Propose and implement policy and procedural changes based on audit feedback.
• Develop recommendations to strengthen the internal control system.
• Prepare compliance reports for executive management.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Accounting or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, audit or related fields.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Desirable knowledge of Six Sigma and ISO standards related to information security, environment, quality and corporate governance.

Required skills

• Six Sigma methodology.
• Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
