Compliance and Governance Manager

About the role

Join SPIC‑Zuma Energía’s compliance team and help drive the energy transition in Mexico. You will ensure that the company adheres to internal policies, shareholder directives, and local regulations while supporting the headquarters’ audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company’s anti‑corruption procedures and coordinate external audits.
• Maintain and update the corporate Obligation Matrix.
• Oversee the Ethics Line and act as the primary contact for headquarters audits.
• Propose and implement policy and procedural changes based on audit feedback.
• Develop and improve internal control systems.
• Prepare compliance reports for executive management.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Accounting or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, audit or related fields.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology is desirable.
• Familiarity with creating manuals, policies and corporate procedures.
• Understanding of ISO standards related to information security, environment, quality and corporate governance.
• Advanced English proficiency.

• Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
• Six Sigma tools and concepts.
• Implementation of ISO standards (information security, environmental, quality, corporate governance).
