Construction Estimator – Commercial (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Construction Estimator to join our U.S.-based commercial general contracting team on a full‑time remote basis. You will work closely with pre‑construction, project management, and subcontractor partners to support national bidding and estimation efforts for retail, restaurant, office, medical, hospitality, and tenant‑improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and material analysis from construction drawings and specifications.
• Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for commercial bid submissions.
• Review, analyze, and pre‑qualify subcontractor bids to ensure full trade coverage and pricing competitiveness.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and sub‑trade partners to obtain up‑to‑date pricing.
• Support the full bid preparation and submission process, including RFIs and submittals during pre‑construction.
• Collaborate with project managers during contract review and post‑award project setup.
• Utilize PlanHub and other estimating platforms to manage bidding workflows and subcontractor outreach.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in general contracting or multi‑trade commercial bidding.
• Strong understanding of construction pricing, cost breakdowns, and subcontractor coordination.
• Familiarity with regional market pricing in Florida, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Colorado.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
