Construction Logistics Manager – Hotel Construction Development

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Logistics Manager to lead end‑to‑end logistics for hotel construction projects in the Bahamas. The role is fully on‑site and combines operational leadership with commercial and financial responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle logistics operations, including shipment tracking, storage, inventory management and distribution of construction materials and equipment.
• Maintain inventory accountability, ensuring accuracy and traceability across all stages.
• Align logistics activities with construction schedules, delivering against SLAs, KPIs, safety and service level targets.
• Act as primary contact for senior stakeholders, presenting performance insights in governance forums and driving continuous improvement.
• Identify efficiency opportunities, negotiate scope adjustments and commercial agreements, and ensure compliance with customs and construction regulations.
• Oversee the cost structure of logistics operations, driving cost optimisation and financial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction logistics or supply chain management, preferably within large‑scale hotel or infrastructure projects.
• Strong operational leadership with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Commercial and financial acumen to manage budgets, cost structures and commercial contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to engage senior clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Hands‑on, on‑site presence with the ability to resolve logistics challenges quickly.
