Construction Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead large‑scale projects from mobilization through close‑out. The Superintendent will coordinate schedules, logistics, safety plans and quality control to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master project schedule and weekly updates.
• Create and audit the Site‑Specific Safety Plan in collaboration with the safety team.
• Schedule and manage subcontractors, special inspections and final inspections.
• Oversee QA/QC programs, ensuring work complies with contract documents and specifications.
• Lead daily foreman meetings, pull‑planning sessions and weekly subcontractor schedule meetings.
• Prepare daily reports with photographic documentation and weekly field reports.
• Mentor assistant superintendents, foremen and other field staff.
• Assist the Project Manager with monthly billing, budget reviews and project close‑out activities, including punch‑list management and final completion documentation.

Required profile

• Proven ability to run very large construction projects.
• Strong understanding of CSA and MEP aspects of base‑build and fit‑out construction.
• Extensive background in data‑center, healthcare, commercial or higher‑education projects.
• Experience mentoring superintendents, foremen and assistant superintendents.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, architects and engineers.
