Building Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our fast‑paced logistics operations. The successful candidate will ensure that all building systems, structures, and equipment are maintained, safe, and operating efficiently to support our transportation and warehouse activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment and machinery.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in common areas, workspaces, and storage facilities.
• Repair and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, and pallet jacks.
• Assist with setup, testing, and installation of new equipment or machinery.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including water leaks, electrical issues, and HVAC failures.

Required profile

• Intermediate English proficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in building maintenance preferred.
• 2‑3 years of proven experience in building maintenance, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining warehouse equipment such as forklifts and conveyor systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Understanding of safety standards and regulations (OSHA, building codes).
