Continuous Improvement Director

About the role

The LEGO Continuous Improvement Director will lead the site’s Continuous Improvement agenda, shaping the vision and roadmap in line with the global LCI strategy. Reporting to the site Leadership Team, this senior role drives operational excellence across Americas Manufacturing, ensuring sustainable performance improvements and P&L impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a 3‑ to 5‑year Continuous Improvement roadmap aligned with on‑site operational goals.
• Lead the implementation of global Ops direction through local activation plans and governance for project selection.
• Develop KPIs, data systems and dashboards to monitor progress and support data‑driven decisions.
• Coach senior and middle management to embed Lean, Six Sigma and OPEX mindsets.
• Facilitate Gemba walks, Kaizen events, RIE/Blitz workshops and benchmarking activities.
• Maintain and evolve the LEGO Continuous Improvement Assessment model year over year.
• Represent the site in global Continuous Improvement networks and production wheels.

Required profile

• Proven Lean/OPEX/Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with automation and digitisation initiatives.
• Track record of influencing senior leadership and delivering measurable P&L impact.
• Experience operating within a leadership team and driving enterprise‑wide improvement programs.
• Strong ability to coach, mentor and challenge senior managers.
