Continuous Improvement Director

About the role

The Continuous Improvement Director will lead the LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI) agenda for the Americas manufacturing site, shaping the vision and strategy to embed a sustainable improvement mindset across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a 3‑ to 5‑year Continuous Improvement roadmap aligned with site operational strategies.
• Synchronize global operations direction with local activation plans and ensure the LEGO Continuous Improvement Assessment model is continuously improved.
• Drive P&L impact by enhancing operational efficiency and implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives.
• Coach senior and middle leadership to strengthen continuous improvement capabilities.
• Develop KPIs, governance structures, and data‑driven systems to track progress.
• Facilitate frontline engagement through Gemba walks, Kaizen events, and workshops.
• Participate in global Continuous Improvement networks and benchmark best practices.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably at a senior level.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and work within a strategic network.
• Track record of delivering measurable P&L impact through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with automation, digitization, and manufacturing excellence systems.
