Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer you will drive operational performance and value creation across production and management systems. You will ensure key metrics align with quality standards and customer requirements while supporting a culture of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse production performance indicators, identify trends and root causes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (production, quality, engineering, safety, logistics) to investigate failures and implement process improvements.
• Implement and audit best practices, tracking KPIs to drive performance gains.
• Support production excellence initiatives and solve moderately complex problems independently.
• Plan and execute SMED projects to reduce changeover times.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and other quality/environmental standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar continuous improvement role.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing systems and control plans.
• Experience with FMEA and SMED methodologies.
• Ability to communicate in English at an intermediate to advanced level, especially with North American teams.
