Courier – Package Delivery and Pickup

About the role

The Courier role at FedEx Express involves courteous and efficient delivery, collection, and sorting of packages while representing the company professionally. You will operate non‑articulated vehicles safely, handle paperwork accurately, and ensure compliance with service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages and documents on assigned routes.
• Operate 3.5‑ton trucks and mechanized ramp equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect, sort, and label packages according to FedEx service features.
• Complete and file all required paperwork, including air waybills and tax invoices.
• Provide customers with information about FedEx services and maintain adequate shipping supplies.
• Load and unload aircraft, containers, and vehicles, and perform minor vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure security of company and customer property, including hazardous materials.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of experience driving a 3.5‑ton truck.
• Valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle and a clean driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to lift 55 lb (25 kg) and maneuver packages up to 150 lb (68 kg) with equipment.
• Basic English proficiency.
