Customer Quality Specialist

About the role

As a Customer Quality Specialist you will support the deployment of ABB’s quality strategy for the Electrification Business unit in Apodaca, helping to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. You will work closely with local functions to drive continuous improvement, robust root‑cause analysis and world‑class performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support communication and initiatives related to quality management within the assigned area.
• Identify and address risks and opportunities in quality management using data analytics.
• Analyze quality data to detect failures, non‑conformances and trends.
• Facilitate resolution of customer cases through thorough root‑cause analysis and implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement the quality strategy, promote a quality culture and achieve performance targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in customer or manufacturing quality, continuous improvement and quality engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with switchboards, motor control centers or low‑voltage electrification systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
