Cybersecurity Engineer – Automotive Product Security

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join an international automotive project. You will ensure product cybersecurity compliance throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and supporting the implementation of global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain cybersecurity plans for automotive products.
• Conduct threat analysis and risk assessments (TARA).
• Develop functional and technical cybersecurity concepts.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/SAE 21434, ASPICE and other relevant standards.
• Support cybersecurity design across system, hardware, and software layers.
• Perform verification and validation activities, including reviews and testing.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and assist incident response processes (P‑SIRT).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align cybersecurity requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity within the automotive or embedded domain.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and product cybersecurity lifecycle processes.
• Understanding of system, hardware, and software engineering domains.
• Familiarity with safety analysis methods such as FMEA and FTA.
• Fluent English and ability to work in a global organization.
