Deputy HR Manager

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking a Deputy HR Manager to support the launch and growth of its new subsidiary in Mexico. You will work closely with senior leadership to build HR foundations, ensure compliance with local labour laws, and drive people‑related initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and systems for a start‑up subsidiary.
• Review and update the Employee Handbook to align with company standards and Mexican regulations.
• Manage office schedules, administrative processes, and document filing.
• Lead the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate communication, to meet hiring targets.
• Participate in onboarding, off‑boarding, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and organisational development.
• Collect and process payroll data, ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration.
• Prepare HR reports and handle employee‑relations matters, disciplinary actions, and terminations in compliance with Mexican labour law.
• Lead and develop the local HR team, fostering performance and engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Law or a related field.
• At least 10 years of HR and/or administration experience, preferably in multinational manufacturing or engineering firms.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and Mexican labour legislation.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with substantial work experience in Mexico.
• Proven experience establishing HR systems, policies, and teams for start‑up or rapidly growing entities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
