Design Engineer – New Innovation Center

About the role

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our New Innovation Center in Nuevo Leon. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop robust product designs, support continuous improvement, and help reduce costs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product engineers to create design specifications and drawings that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Support design engineering activities on assigned projects.
• Assist teams in problem solving and failure analysis.
• Ensure robust designs are delivered and participate in Design Reviews, DFM, and DFA.
• Continuously improve processes, tools, and team skills to achieve product leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
• Minimum 3 years of design engineering experience, including CAD work.
• Experience with 3‑D parametric solid modeling; SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with staff, customers, and suppliers.
• Detail‑oriented, strong time‑management, and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Adaptable, self‑motivated, and collaborative.
