Director, LATAM Commercial Organization People Leader

About the role

The Director, LATAM Market Commercial Organization People Leader is responsible for shaping and executing the people strategy for HP's Commercial Organization across Latin America. This senior role partners with Market and Country Managing Directors to drive talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the People Organization (PO) for the LATAM Commercial market, overseeing People Partners and Country PO teams.
• Advise executive management on strategic people initiatives, including organization design, workforce planning, and talent development.
• Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and Business Partners to deliver HR services across the region.
• Drive global CO projects that extend beyond LATAM, focusing on future‑of‑work, transformation, and talent strategy.
• Coach and develop a team of People Partners, acting as a trusted advisor and sounding board for Country MDs.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, HP hybrid‑work guidelines, and crisis‑management protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partnering.
• Proven global organizational leadership and executive coaching capabilities.
• High degree of discretion, confidentiality, and strong business acumen.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Strong project and process management, planning, and prioritization abilities.
• Outstanding communication and relationship‑building skills at all organizational levels.
