Director of Sales & Marketing

About the role

Susurros del Corazón, a luxury oceanfront resort in Punta de Mita, is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sales & Marketing. This executive will lead the overall commercial strategy, overseeing both sales and marketing functions while collaborating closely with Revenue Management, Public Relations, and Communications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the resort’s annual and long‑term commercial strategy aligned with financial and brand objectives.
• Lead integrated sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with revenue management, PR, and communications teams.
• Create and implement strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with luxury travel advisors, agency partners, wholesalers, meeting planners, and other industry stakeholders.
• Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, partnership, and experiential platforms.
• Ensure brand consistency with Auberge Collection standards.
• Partner with Revenue Management to support pricing, inventory, segmentation, and distribution strategies.
• Analyze market intelligence, pace reports, forecasting, and competitive trends to inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior sales and marketing leadership, preferably within luxury hospitality.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing commercial strategies.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with revenue, PR, and communications teams.
• Excellent relationship‑building abilities with travel advisors, agencies, and industry partners.
• Ability to travel regularly to the resort and work flexibly from the property or remotely within Mexico.
