Director of Web and Digital Experience

About the role

Sequoia is looking for a senior leader to own the web and digital experience across three brands – Sequoia, Transform and SemperVirens. Based in Mexico City, you will shape strategy, drive acquisition, conversion and retention through compelling online experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overarching web strategy, including site updates, landing pages, testing and optimization.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Web Engineering, Creative and Product teams to build campaign and product‑focused site experiences.
• Develop and maintain a web experience roadmap with weekly sprint planning aligned to short‑ and long‑term goals.
• Analyze page performance and user behavior, generate data‑driven hypotheses, and implement improvements.
• Partner with Analytics to establish measurement frameworks, define KPIs and manage forecasts.
• Lead SEO initiatives and leverage personalization to deliver audience‑specific digital experiences.

Required profile

• 7+ years leading integrated web strategy and complex web programs in a tech‑focused or consumer‑brand environment.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Data‑driven mindset, comfortable translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented organization.

Required skills

• Experience with CMS platforms, specifically WordPress.
• Proficiency with A/B testing tools and site analytics (Google Analytics).
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools for reporting.
• Technical expertise in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, UX principles and domain management.
