Director, Organizational Development

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Director of Organizational Development to lead the design and execution of organization‑wide development and change initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Organizational Development, the role combines building the OD function’s methodology with hands‑on delivery across the global business.

Key responsibilities

• Support the VP in developing OD frameworks, tools, governance and scalable ways of working.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to assess organizational health, identify gaps and lead end‑to‑end org‑design and operating‑model projects.
• Design governance models, decision‑rights frameworks and operating norms to navigate structural complexity.
• Translate complex problems into clear problem statements, business cases and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Facilitate leadership alignment, diagnostics and post‑change team resets, guiding leaders through the human side of restructuring.
• Build and embed change‑management capability, creating methodology components, tools and templates.
• Develop and lead change‑management strategies for major initiatives, linking with L&D, communications and people‑leader practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in organizational development and change management within large, matrixed organizations.
• Proven ability to translate strategic direction into actionable programs and interventions.
• Strong judgment, analytical thinking and influencing skills at senior‑leadership level.
• Excellent partnership skills with HR Business Partners and cross‑functional teams.
