Engineering Designer – CAD & Product Development

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Designer to create high‑quality CAD concepts for our vehicle platforms. You will work closely with the Product Development Engineering team to ensure designs are feasible, functional, and meet program milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and iterate CAD models and assemblies using CATIA V5/3DX with speed and efficiency.
• Generate quality concepts, alternatives, and motion files while managing data in Teamcenter.
• Resolve compatibility, feasibility, and functionality issues in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Design build‑to‑print parts, assemblies, and integrate supplier sub‑systems according to functional requirements and design standards.
• Apply DFMEA, SCCAF, and 5D tools to assess design risks and ensure compliance.
• Participate in feasibility meetings, propose alternative solutions, and drive continuous improvement in tools and processes.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in mechanical design/CAD, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Industrial or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, structural, and material concepts.
• Familiarity with core quality tools such as DFMEA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and systems engineering.
