Environmental & Product Stewardship Manager

About the role

The Environmental & Product Stewardship Manager will lead the global implementation of the OPV Environmental Management System and ensure product compliance for PVC resin and derivative products. Reporting to corporate leadership, the role works closely with R&D, Quality, Marketing, HSE and local stewardship teams to embed a culture of environmental responsibility across all operations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain guidelines for the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS) at a global level.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve environmental efficiency, including projects, procedures and operational controls.
• Coordinate product stewardship activities to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications and internal quality standards for PVC products worldwide.
• Provide HSE&S guidance, training and reporting support across corporate platforms (ODISEO, ENHESA).
• Identify potential loss exposures, assess risks and implement corrective or preventive measures.
• Create and monitor KPIs and strategies to achieve corporate environmental objectives.
• Support the design and execution of audit plans to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience developing and managing internal HSE audits and sustainable projects.
• Hands‑on experience implementing Environmental Management Systems.
• Strong communication, teamwork and leadership abilities.
• Excellent time‑management, detail‑orientation and initiative.
